Dr Rajendra Pachauri, the chairman of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC), has been under fire since a report from the charity the WWF was used to make claims about reductions in ice on mountains.

In particular it included the erroneous claim that the Himalayan glaciers would melt by 2035. It was said to be 300 years out and led to accusations that the organisation was cherry-picking evidence to justify its claims.

Comes as no surprise to those who haven't forgotten the 'we need to do whatever it takes to scare people into believing us' quotes from the IPCC.

In a hearing at the InterAcademy Council, an organisation of the world's science academies which is conducting an independent review of the processes and procedures of the IPCC, Dr Pachauri described the inclusion of the glacier claim as "human failure" which should not have happened.

What is he saying, that humans can fuck things up! Like build dodgy computer models and cook books! Amazing, never knew that.

But the IPCC's chairman said there was a need to use information which was not from peer-reviewed scientific journals, because in some places that was the only research that had been done.

He said the media and other sections of society had misunderstood the role of such information, labelling it grey literature, "as if it was some form of grey muddied water flowing down the drains".

Well, I'm no scientist, but if data cannot be checked for objectivity, integrity, transparency etc, then it hardly qualifies as conclusive does it? I thought that was the whole point of the Scientific Method.

Eleven of the 20 members of the Scientific Advisory Group for Emergencies (SAGE) have done work for the pharmaceutical industry or are linked to it through their universities.

Many have declared interests in GlaxoSmithKline, the vaccine maker expected to be the biggest beneficiary of the pandemic.

So, we have a definite merging or corporate agents into law/ policy making agencies. And you know what this, I won't mention it again.

Former UNEP-Chieftain and Bilderberger Admitted to “International Consensus” on Population Policy

Klaus Töpfer, 1996 Bilderberg attendee and former Executive Director of the United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) admitted in 2000 that there is an “international consensus” on worldwide population control. During a speech given in Berlin in the beginning of the new millennium, Töpfer stated:

“Most people and policymakers are unaware that there is an international consensus that grounds population policy in human rights and development, emphasizing building the capacities of women to manage their own lives.”

Here Töpfer admits not only that there is an international consensus to ground population policy in the concepts of “human rights and development”, but also that most people and policymakers are unaware of this consensus.

Töpfer should know. He visited a Bilderberg meeting back in 1989, organized in La Toja, Spain and the Bilderberg conference held near Toronto, Canada, from May 30 to June 2 1996. Besides being a Bilderberger and former UNEP-chieftain, Klaus Töpfer is also a member of the Club of Rome. In 2004 he contributed to the Club’s publication ‘Sustainability Creates New Prosperity: Basis for a New World Order, New Economics and Environmental Protection’.

In his speech in 2000, Töpfer stresses the point:

“Policymakers rarely contemplate long time periods and connections between disparate sets of issues, especially controversial ones. Nonetheless, at the dawn of the new century the world faces a host of environmental and security risks strongly connected to the growing size of human population and the growing affluence of some, but not all, of that population.”

Ominously, the Executive Director appeared to manifest a crystal ball:

“Future changes in global population will contribute significantly to the need for such integrated, long-term approaches to environmental problems.”

On another occasion, the Executive Director of UNEP called for the creation of a new global religion:

“We have to develop the ecological, holistic wold view which connects us with the rest of Nature- both materially and spiritually. Religious traditions emphasize this connection. Our task should be to retrieve these basic symbols and doctrines within each tradition and translate them into clear prescription for public policy and behavior.”

This statement about the “international consensus” reaffirms that which we already know, namely that the global elite have their noses pointed in the same direction when it comes to the world’s human inhabitants and the “need” to curb their numbers.

What I would add is that not only is there this 'consensus', but the collective ideologies that dominate the world are all directed to this end. According to this psycho, people becoming more affluent (read: industrialising nations) pose a threat.

To who? Not me. In fact, if they become more affluent, their birth rates drop. Wouldn't that be a good thing? I guess not, if the real goal is control of the human race, where everyone but the ruling elite are impoverished, ignorant and enslaved.

Adam Posen, a member of the Bank's Monetary Policy Committee, said that the Government should consider slapping extra taxes on British properties, suggesting that in future homeowners should have to pay an extra charge if prices rise too fast. In comments which will cause extreme disquiet in the Treasury, he even indicated that this may mean imposing capital gains taxes on first homes and raising stamp duty.

The comments, in a speech at a conference in London on Tuesday, are highly unusual since MPC members generally steer well clear of comments on fiscal policy. But Mr Posen, the newest member of the nine-person committee, said that while he was "speaking solely for myself alone as an economist looking at the boom-bust problem", he felt some kind of tax penalty on house prices was an important solution to Britain's repeated housing crashes.

And there I was thinking that boom and bust was a combination of government regulation and BOE inflation and contraction of the money supply (in order to extract wealth from the population). House prices are grossly overvalued because of cheap credit and government dictating how banks lend money.

Raises demand does it not?

Demand outstrips supply and pushes up prices does it not?

If that cheap credit and dodgy loans didn't occur, demand would drop, and house prices would drop, like any other commodity in any other market in the history of trade. Then people would be able to buy homes at a sensible price. Deposits would be lower, payments would be lower, leaving people with more money to buy other things, stimulating other parts of the economy.

Well, that is what would happen in a free-market anyway...

John Kingman, the former chief executive of UK Financial Investments, is to become the new managing director of NM Rothschild.

The move is expected to be confirmed as early as this week, four months after he resigned from his £143,000 job controlling taxpayers’ stakes in the bailed-out banks.

Home Office engaged in conspiracy regarding immigration

Conspiracy; an agreement between two or more persons to break the law at some time in the future, and, in some cases, with at least one overt act in furtherance of that agreement.

Labour's “open door” immigration policy knowingly risked allowing dangerous people to settle in Britain unchecked, according to documents seen by The Sunday Times.

The Whitehall correspondence, which was illegally withheld by the Home Office for four years, shows how ministers were told by the country’s most senior immigration official that his staff were to be “encouraged to take risks” when granting visas, work permits and extended residency to hundreds of thousands of new migrants.

The cover-up of this policy of risk-taking was so concerted that Richard Thomas, the then information commissioner, sent a team of investigators into the Home Office to trawl all the relevant papers. Earlier this year he rebuked the department for breaking the law and ordered it to release the material under the freedom of information (FoI) law.

The documents help to explain the huge rise in the flow of migrants into Britain as the Home Office rushed to clear a backlog of 45,000 cases.

Officials agreed to fast-track 337,000 applications with minimal checks. This led to a rapid rise in immigration. In 1999, 170,000 visas were granted; by 2002, this had risen to 300,000.

The Women and Equality Minister was told she must no longer use a single figure to describe the complex differences in the earnings of men and women.

Instead she will have to give three measures - among them one which shows that far from earning less than men, women in part-time jobs are actually paid more on average than their male counterparts.

The ruling from the Office for National Statistics is the culmination of a running row between Labour's deputy leader and Whitehall watchdogs, who called her use of figures on the gender pay gap 'misleading'.

Somalian, 112, marries teenage girl 95 years his junior... and plans to have children

A Somali man who claims to be 112 years old has married a 17-year old girl.

'Today God helped me realise my dream,' Ahmed Mohamed Dore said, after the wedding in the region of Galguduud.

Bride Safiya Abdulle's family said she was 'happy with her new husband'.

Dhore says he wanted to marry Abdulle for a long time but waited for her to grow up.

'I didn't force her, but used my experience to convince her of my love; and then we agreed to marry,' he was quoted by the BBC as saying.

He said his children and two other wives agreed to the marriage, as did Abdulle's parents.

And he claimed he wants to have more children with his young bride.

The pair celebrated their marriage late Tuesday in central Somalia before hundreds of guests.

Somali adolescent girls are often married off to older men, but it is rare for a man as old as Dhore to marry a girl of Abdulle's age.

Dhore claims to be 112, but there is no way to verify the claim.

This marriage was his 6th; three of Dhore's wives have died.

Polygamy is widely practiced in predominantly Muslim Somalia.

Only difference here is that him, all his wives and the kids will be paid for by YOU.

The French government plans next year to begin making heavy users of household and transport fuels bear more of the tax burden. President Nicolas Sarkozy is expected to say in coming weeks that such a shift is necessary to nudge French citizens toward cleaner alternatives.

The tax would reportedly start at about 14 euros (or $20) for each ton of CO2 emitted, and could rise to levels of around 100 euros ($143) for each ton by 2030. That could mean substantial increases in the price of gasoline and diesel, as well as a sizable jump in the cost of keeping homes warm.

But skeptics say the idea may have less to do with clean energy, and more to do with a desire on the part of Mr. Sarkozy’s government to find new ways to keep the national debt in check.

I guess reducing state spending or borrowing is out of the question. You can't control people with debt if they're not in it! Spend spend spend, borrow some more. Introduction of carbon tax suggested

The Commission on Taxation has recommended the introduction of a carbon tax to help cut Ireland’s greenhouse gas emissions.

In a report published this morning, the commission said this tax should apply to all carbon-based fuels sold for use in Ireland and should be based on the tonnes of CO2 emitted by each fuel. It said the tax could raise €500 million per year.

“The tax should be clearly visible at the point of final consumption to ensure it is not seen as ‘just another tax’”, the report said.

The Commission said a carbon tax would encourage polluters to cut emissions to save money and encourage innovation. “It is fair in the sense that those who choose to pollute the most, pay the most,” it said.

While there should be no preferential rates, businesses who are involved in the Emissions Trading Scheme should be exempt, it said.

Geo-engineering Earth is ‘good idea’

A UK Royal Society study has concluded that many engineering proposals to reduce the impact of climate change are "technically possible".

Such approaches could be effective, the authors said in their report.

But they also stressed that the potential of geo-engineering should not divert governments away from their efforts to reduce carbon emissions.

No, must keep up the tax on civilisation and reducing the quality of life for everyone on Earth, elite classes excluded of course.

Such engineering projects could either remove carbon dioxide or reflect the Sun's rays away from the planet.

Fucking hell, did I wake up in a parallel universe? You remove carbon dioxide and what are the plants going to use for photosynthesis? You reflect the Sun’s rays and what are the plants going to use for photosynthesis, you know the process that converts carbon dioxide into organic compounds, especially sugars, using the energy from sunlight.

Suggestions range from having giant mirrors in space, to erecting giant CO2 scrubbers that would "clean up" the air.

This is a typo, what they actually mean is erecting giant carbon tax scams that will suck the productivity out of the human race, something that seems to be alluded to in the next quote (my emphasis).

Of the two basic geo-engineering approaches, the report concluded that those involving the removal of carbon dioxide were preferable, as they effectively return the climate system closer to its pre-industrial state.

That one sentence sums up the entire environmental movement.

Of the carbon removal techniques assessed, three were considered to have most potential:

1. CO2 capture from ambient air: This would be the preferred method, as it effectively reverses the cause of climate change.

2. Enhanced weathering: This aims to enhance natural reactions of CO2 from the air with rocks and minerals. It was identified as a prospective longer-term option.

3. Land use and afforestation: The report found that land-use management could and should play a small but significant role in reducing the growth of atmospheric CO2 concentrations.

This is the best they can come up with? And think of the absurdity of humans trying to control the entire climate. What for? Climate is supposed to change, it is COMPLETELY NATURAL. But like I said, this isn’t about nature, this is about imposing a global regime using the environment as a pretext.

Professor John Shepherd, a researcher from the University of Southampton, chaired the Royal Society's geo-engineering study.

So you know who butters his bread.

He said: "It is an unpalatable truth that unless we can succeed in greatly reducing CO2 emissions, we are headed for a very uncomfortable and challenging climate future.

"Some geo-engineering techniques could have serious unintended and detrimental effects on many people and ecosystems, yet we are still failing to take the only action that will prevent us from having to rely on them.

The Burkini. You’d think it was a joke invention: a bit like the grotesque “Mankini” so hilariously sported by Sacha Baron Cohen on all those posters for Borat. What, after all, could be more absurd than melding the not-notably-sexy Muslim dress - the Burka - with the kind of achingly seductive kit worn by Brigitte Bardot in And God Created Woman?

But no, the Burkini is for real. It was designed by an Lebanese Australian Aheda Zanetti to enable women in thrall to extreme Saudi-style dress codes to go swimming on beaches and in public baths without incurring a beating or instant divorce from their characteristically tolerant and cosmopolitan menfolk.

If you didn’t know, it is in regards to this cultural Jihad being waged by Muslims in Britain, in this case, by imposing dress codes and Muslim only swimming sessions.

What I will add however, is the real reason for Muslim only sessions is because Muslims believe that us non Muslims are ritually unclean. Every part of us is impure and they have to keep their distance lest they be infected by our disgusting non Muslim touch.

I’m not kidding. From ‘The Legacy of Jihad by Andrew G. Bostom, MD’ we have this quote on page 33;

It is only when the study Islam for yourself that you begin to discover just how much contempt Islam and its followers view us and everything about us in the West (except the benefits and council houses, which is a form of financial Jihad). Talk of ‘social cohesion’ etc is all nonsense. Islam is an imperialistic, totalitarian socio-political supremacist sect, not a religion. They do not wish to integrate, they wish to infiltrate and then dominate, while assimilating the benefits of Western society and imposing their tyrannical collectivist death cult on the rest of us. They see themselves as superior to us in every way, not because they personally came to that conclusion, but because Islam states it, and they don’t think for themselves. Actually, they’re not allowed to think. Islam says so. Such is the nature of cults.

To make it perfectly clear, Islam is not a peaceful, passive system. It is an aggressive encroaching system. Depending on their relative numbers in a host state they may play the quiet card, slowly imposing their barbaric primitive culture or in larger numbers, outright violence and threats against local non Muslims. Anyone who tells you different is either a) ignorant or b) lying. From the same book as I quoted above (and the same page);

John Cleese's ex-wife will leave divorce richer than him

John Cleese has been forced to agree a divorce settlement of nearly £12.5million with his third wife.

The deal is likely to leave her richer than him.

He will hand over £8million to Alyce Faye Eichelberger in cash and assets, plus £612,000 a year for the next seven years, despite them having no children.

The payout will reduce 69-year-old Cleese's overall wealth to around £10million.

He has, however, managed to find a sense of humour about the settlement, saying: 'I got off lightly. Think what I'd have had to pay Alyce if she'd contributed anything to the relationship.'

Revelations about the divorce, which it is understood will be rubberstamped imminently, have come from Cleese's friend Michael Winner.

The film director and restaurant critic said: 'His ex-wife Alyce Faye Eichelberger told me on a previous spat..."John doesn't know what's going to hit him. I'll take him for every penny". She kept her word.'

Only in this bullshit feminist society could a woman even assume they would be able to take so much of a man’s hard earned wealth.

'Alyce lived in a council flat when they met. There are no dependent children. Yet she's getting some $13million in cash and assets (£8million). Plus a further $1million (£612,000 a year for seven years).

'As he put it "What I find so unfair is that if we both died today, her children would get much more than mine".

No dependent children, he made all of the money, yet she is going to take most of it, and that is on top of enjoying the fruits of his labours ALREADY since 1992.

Psychotherapist Miss Eichelberger, 64, the third Mrs Cleese, was originally claiming £900,000-a-year maintenance, two houses and half of his earnings since they married in 1992.

Wow. How women can even get off demanding such things is unbelievable. No honour or respect whatsoever. What’s love got to do with it.. indeed.

And they wonder why marriage rates are falling like a rock. Which is part of the Marxo-feminist plan of course. Destroy the nuclear family.

Still, even on the level of screwed up divorces, this is something else.

Swine Flu Vaccine Linked to Paralysis

(NaturalNews) A warning letter about the swine flu vaccine was leaked to the DailyMail over the weekend. Written by Professor Elizabeth Miller, head of the Health Protection Agency's Immunization Department, it warns neurologists that the influenza vaccine of 1976 was linked to a devastating neurological condition called Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS). "The vaccines used to combat an expected swine influenza pandemic in 1976 were shown to be associated with GBS and were withdrawn from use," says the July 29 letter.

GBS can cause paralysis and death. One woman mentioned in the DailyMail story -- Hilary Wilkinson -- was stricken with GBS and had to be fed through a drip while needing a tracheotomy just to breathe. It took her three months in the hospital to learn how to walk and talk again. On the topic of the swine flu vaccine, she says today, "It makes me feel wary that the Government is rolling out this vaccine without any clear idea of the GBS risk, if any. I wouldn't wish it on anyone... I'm frightened to have the swine flu vaccine if this might happen again -- it's a frightening illness and I think more research needs to be done on the effect of the vaccine."

No, no research! Just rush them out, make lots of money for the indemnified Big Pharma corps. Don’t look into the ingredients and their side effects, even Glaxo doesn’t know what they are, and it’s making the damn stuff. British Labour councillor Zahir Ahmed, who represents the Daneshouse and Stoneyholme ward  in Burnley, has been pressured into quitting for his lack of attending required meetings and failure to represent those he was elected to serve.
