US govt silencing dissenting scientists on oil spill issue

A prominent oceanographer, who was among the first to say official estimates understated the volume of the Gulf of Mexico oil spill, charged Tuesday that a federal agency is punishing scientists whose findings disagree with government figures.

Ian MacDonald, an oceanographer with Florida State University, who more than two weeks ago said the oil spill was likely five times as large as the 5,000 barrel-a-day estimate from the National Oceanic Atmospheric and Administration, said the agency is attacking scientists who challenged government estimates, while itself doing little to glean new information about the spill size.

“The scientific community in the Gulf of Mexico is fairly small ... and we've been very dedicated for a long time and not only is nobody listening to us in this, but it seems like they really want us to shut up,” MacDonald said. “It's very, very punitive and anybody who is doing this is getting attacked by NOAA.”

A NOAA spokesman did not address MacDonald's claims directly, but said that the agency's spill response includes scientists with key federal agencies as well as partners in the scientific community and the private sector.

80,000 barrels a day?

The stinging criticism comes amid debate about the size of the oil spill emanating from BP's Macondo well about 40 miles off the coast of Louisiana. An April 20 blowout in a well under 5,000 feet of water triggered the oil spill, destroyed the Deepwater Horizon drilling rig, and killed 11 workers.

Some independent scientists have made estimates that sharply depart from NOAA's estimate, which equates to 210,000 gallons a day.

Based on various models, including measurements of satellite imagery of the surface slick and an analysis of wellhead video released by BP, some scientists estimate the volume of oil spilling from the well as 25,000 to 80,000 barrels a day.

US to buy Israel $200 million missile system

Barack Obama is to ask the US Congress for an extra $200m in military aid to help Israel get a short-range rocket defence system in place.

The system is designed to shoot down mortars and rockets from Gaza or Southern Lebanon with guided missiles.

The system, called Iron Dome, has gone through testing and installation will start later this year.

According to US State Department figures, direct military aid to Israel was $2.55bn in 2009.

This is set to increase to $3.15bn in 2018.

I'm sure the American taxpayers just love buying weapons for foreigners. Cut all foreign aid. People can donate individually (if they can afford it).

He co-developed the original satellite method for precise monitoring of global temperatures from Earth-orbiting satellites. He’s just the kind of egghead the IPCC claims to represent when it tells us the world is getting dangerously warmer, it’s man’s fault – the result of CO2 emissions – and it must be urgently addressed.

Windows 7, NSA love in defended again

Microsoft Denies Windows 7 'Backdoor'

- Well it isn't like the U.S. government engaged in warrantless wiretapping or other illegal, covert surveillance...

US, November 20, 2009 - Microsoft is fighting back against detractors that are questioning whether or not the company installed "backdoors" into Windows 7 after it was learned that the National Security Agency (NSA) played a role in the development of the operating system. The NSA's information assurance director, Richard Schaeffer, revealed during a Congress hearing that the agency entered into a partnership with the Window's 7 developer in order "to enhance Microsoft's operating system security guide."

What kinda bullshit excuse is that?

A story released through Computerworld first brought light to the subject, which lead to Microsoft releasing a statement that clearly stated "Microsoft has not and will not put 'backdoors' into Windows." Industry experts are concerned about the inclusion of the NSA during the development of a major operating system, as some believe the agency may put pressure on companies like Microsoft to build access pathways into their OS code that would allow them to do things like intercept communications and track users.

No? What, like they do with the telecoms companies I suppose.

"The key problem is that NSA has a dual mission, COMPUSEC, computer security, now called cyber security, and SIGINT, signals intelligence, in other words surveillance," said Marc Rotenberg, executive director of the Electronics Privacy Information Center (EPIC).

The government doesn't throw around phrases like 'Total Information Awareness' and 'Full Spectrum Warfare' for nothing you know...

Every Microsoft Windows machine accessible by NSA

Heiss - A CARELESS mistake by Microsoft programmers has revealed that special access codes prepared by the US National Security Agency have been secretly built into Windows. The NSA access system is built into every version of the Windows operating system now in use, except early releases of Windows 95 (and its predecessors). The discovery comes close on the heels of the revelations earlier this year that another US software giant, Lotus, had built an NSA "help information" trapdoor into its Notes system, and that security functions on other software systems had been deliberately crippled.

The first discovery of the new NSA access system was made two years ago by British researcher Dr Nicko van Someren. But it was only a few weeks ago when a second researcher rediscovered the access system. With it, he found the evidence linking it to NSA.

Computer security specialists have been aware for two years that unusual features are contained inside a standard Windows software "driver" used for security and encryption functions. The driver, called ADVAPI.DLL, enables and controls a range of security functions. If you use Windows, you will find it in the C:Windowssystem directory of your computer.

ADVAPI.DLL works closely with Microsoft Internet Explorer, but will only run cryptographic functions that the US governments allows Microsoft to export. That information is bad enough news, from a European point of view. Now, it turns out that ADVAPI will run special programmes inserted and controlled by NSA. As yet, no-one knows what these programmes are, or what they do.

Dr Nicko van Someren reported at last year's Crypto 98 conference that he had disassembled the ADVADPI driver. He found it contained two different keys. One was used by Microsoft to control the cryptographic functions enabled in Windows, in compliance with US export regulations. But the reason for building in a second key, or who owned it, remained a mystery.

A second key

Two weeks ago, a US security company came up with conclusive evidence that the second key belongs to NSA. Like Dr van Someren, Andrew Fernandez, chief scientist with Cryptonym of Morrisville, North Carolina, had been probing the presence and significance of the two keys. Then he checked the latest Service Pack release for Windows NT4, Service Pack 5. He found that Microsoft's developers had failed to remove or "strip" the debugging symbols used to test this software before they released it. Inside the code were the labels for the two keys. One was called "KEY". The other was called "NSAKEY".

Fernandes reported his re-discovery of the two CAPI keys, and their secret meaning, to "Advances in Cryptology, Crypto'99" conference held in Santa Barbara. According to those present at the conference, Windows developers attending the conference did not deny that the "NSA" key was built into their software. But they refused to talk about what the key did, or why it had been put there without users' knowledge.

A third key?!

But according to two witnesses attending the conference, even Microsoft's top crypto programmers were astonished to learn that the version of ADVAPI.DLL shipping with Windows 2000 contains not two, but three keys. Brian LaMachia, head of CAPI development at Microsoft was "stunned" to learn of these discoveries, by outsiders. The latest discovery by Dr van Someren is based on advanced search methods which test and report on the "entropy" of programming code.

Within the Microsoft organisation, access to Windows source code is said to be highly compartmentalized, making it easy for modifications to be inserted without the knowledge of even the respective product managers.

Researchers are divided about whether the NSA key could be intended to let US government users of Windows run classified cryptosystems on their machines or whether it is intended to open up anyone's and everyone's Windows computer to intelligence gathering techniques deployed by NSA's burgeoning corps of "information warriors".

According to Fernandez of Cryptonym, the result of having the secret key inside your Windows operating system "is that it is tremendously easier for the NSA to load unauthorized security services on all copies of Microsoft Windows, and once these security services are loaded, they can effectively compromise your entire operating system". The NSA key is contained inside all versions of Windows from Windows 95 OSR2 onwards.

"For non-American IT managers relying on Windows NT to operate highly secure data centres, this find is worrying", he added. "The US government is currently making it as difficult as possible for "strong" crypto to be used outside of the US. That they have also installed a cryptographic back-door in the world's most abundant operating system should send a strong message to foreign IT managers".

"How is an IT manager to feel when they learn that in every copy of Windows sold, Microsoft has a 'back door' for NSA - making it orders of magnitude easier for the US government to access your computer?" he asked.

Can the loophole be turned round against the snoopers?

Dr van Someren feels that the primary purpose of the NSA key inside Windows may be for legitimate US government use. But he says that there cannot be a legitimate explanation for the third key in Windows 2000 CAPI. "It looks more fishy", he said.

Fernandez believes that NSA's built-in loophole can be turned round against the snoopers. The NSA key inside CAPI can be replaced by your own key, and used to sign cryptographic security modules from overseas or unauthorised third parties, unapproved by Microsoft or the NSA. This is exactly what the US government has been trying to prevent. A demonstration "how to do it" program that replaces the NSA key can be found on Cryptonym's website.

According to one leading US cryptographer, the IT world should be thankful that the subversion of Windows by NSA has come to light before the arrival of CPUs that handles encrypted instruction sets. These would make the type of discoveries made this month impossible. "Had the next-generation CPU's with encrypted instruction sets already been deployed, we would have never found out about NSAKEY."

Supermarkets' Bloody Vaccination Campaign

Experts believe that foul play is obviously behind the current pandemic as evidenced by the virus's genetics. The feared flu is a laboratory-recombinant of swine from Mexico, avian (bird) from Asia, and a human corpse contaminated with flu genes from the 1918 Spanish pandemic unearthed despite protests from scientists worldwide. The official explanation alleges an impossible, natural mating of genes from some Asian chicken, Mexican pig, and a dead-corpse buried for nearly a century.

Common sense and chilling documents sent to the FBI by these authors discredit official explanations for this pandemic, and this is not the first time this kind of accident has happened. The laboratory sourced 1977 outbreak of H1N1, a virus that went extinct for 20 years was recently acknowledged in the esteemed New England Journal of Medicine. Boycott Safeway Now!

In many Safeway stores, persuasion begins at the door. A teen, knowing nothing about vaccines, hands you a flier encouraging you to visit the pharmacy for your "impulse flu shot." He excuses himself for his ignorance using the Nuremberg defense, "I'm just doing my job."

Safeway customers never learn their pharmacists know little about the H1N1 vaccine.Proprietary ingredients in these vaccines are purposely undisclosed by Burd's partners, the vaccine makers, including Novartis, CSL, Baxter, and Glaxo-SmithKlein. Thus, the inoculations contraindications are missing from Safeway's pharmacists brains.

When on a recent visit to Safeway, Ms. Kane asked the pharmacist if he would take the shot. He replied, I am not going to lie, no, I won't take the vaccine. Five minutes later the man pleasantly provided the flu shot to a customer conned by the promotion to save 10% on her next grocery bill; so the impulse inoculation would cost her less than $20. This recession savvy promotion at check-out got her to take the shot.

Discounted injections are most profitable as they secure people's dependency on the store's pharmacy. Common vaccine and drug side effects last for years, and prescribed medicines generate greater toxicity causing additional diseases. Experts shudder to think vaccine ingredients include toxic oils, heavy metals, poisonous chemicals, anti-HIV spermicides, and (in the UK) a cancer virus believed liked to the origin of AIDS called SV40.

Incredibly, the live genetically-engineered H1N1flu viruses in Safeway's vaccines are expected to mutate rapidly with other circulating viruses including flu strains, common cancer viruses like Epstein Barr, and even HIV, potentially yielding new more deadly pandemics rivaling AIDS and the 1918 Spanish Flu.

As far as medical doctors are concerned, Safeway stores are considered competitors or travel medicine providers (TMPs), according to the Infectious Diseases Society of America (IDSA). You get what you pay for, one official told us wishing to remain anonymous. Safeway is hiring these untrained and unqualified TMPs to administer these risky vaccines.

One of Safeway's former pharmacists explained that their best druggists are fired whenever they raise reasonable objections to vaccinations. Thus, Safeway's tenured pharmacists tend to remain lame.

For all the above reasons, an immediate lasting boycott of Safeway is indicated.

Safeway is heralding the new H1N1 flu vaccines for pregnant women despite the spermicides in these vaccines being linked by scientists to birth defects and spontaneous abortions. A main ingredient in the European injections is MF59TM with nonoxynol-9 spermicide. According to science, the MF59 with squalene alone might harm or even kill 59-out-of-60 people who buy into the stores propaganda.

Safeway's propagandists are none other than David Rockefeller's partnered media moguls: Rupert Murdock, Mortimor Zuckerman, and Thomas Glocer--the worlds premiere mind-setters. Their companies, include Time Warner, FOX and Reuters are serving psychological operations for global depopulation. They all subscribe to the Population Council of the City of New York founded and still funded by Rockefeller entities. Their newswires neglect these deadly ties to Rockefeller cronies that include The Business Council, The Population Council, Kohlberg Kravis Roberts & Co. (KKR), and the Partnership for New York City (PNYC) that was chartered by the British Royal family. France Mulls CO2 Taxes on Citizens

The French government plans next year to begin making heavy users of household and transport fuels bear more of the tax burden. President Nicolas Sarkozy is expected to say in coming weeks that such a shift is necessary to nudge French citizens toward cleaner alternatives.

The tax would reportedly start at about 14 euros (or $20) for each ton of CO2 emitted, and could rise to levels of around 100 euros ($143) for each ton by 2030. That could mean substantial increases in the price of gasoline and diesel, as well as a sizable jump in the cost of keeping homes warm.

But skeptics say the idea may have less to do with clean energy, and more to do with a desire on the part of Mr. Sarkozy’s government to find new ways to keep the national debt in check.

I guess reducing state spending or borrowing is out of the question. You can't control people with debt if they're not in it! Spend spend spend, borrow some more. The money printers will demand interest too remember, so the state oppresses the people and wrings them dry, squeezing as much out of them as possible. You have to keep in mind that money (to us) represents production, which means it represents out time, which is life. A weeks' pay is a week of your working life gone. Introduction of carbon tax suggested

The Commission on Taxation has recommended the introduction of a carbon tax to help cut Ireland’s greenhouse gas emissions.

In a report published this morning, the commission said this tax should apply to all carbon-based fuels sold for use in Ireland and should be based on the tonnes of CO2 emitted by each fuel. It said the tax could raise €500 million per year.

“The tax should be clearly visible at the point of final consumption to ensure it is not seen as ‘just another tax’”, the report said.

The Commission said a carbon tax would encourage polluters to cut emissions to save money and encourage innovation. “It is fair in the sense that those who choose to pollute the most, pay the most,” it said.

While there should be no preferential rates, businesses who are involved in the Emissions Trading Scheme should be exempt, it said.

In Florida, Jim Greer, the Republican Party chairman, said he was "absolutely appalled that taxpayer dollars are being used to spread President Obama's socialist ideology".

Critics were particularly upset that Arne Duncan, the secretary of education, had written to all head teachers announcing the president's address as a "historic speech" and urging them to build lessons around it.

Students were urged to "write letters to themselves about what they can do to help the president".

Remember the Swine Flu vaccine (which they are subtly demanding the whole world takes) has had no such ‘testing’. On top of that it (Relenza) contains the adjuvant AS03. This can be confirmed by the following page on the Glaxo website, which states;

The vaccine will comprise antigen of the recently isolated A (H1N1) influenza strain and also contain GSK's proprietary adjuvant system AS03.

AS03 contains Squalene plus Vitamin-E (Why?) plus Polysorbate-80 (Tween-80) which is another additive that crosses the blood-brain barrier and is thought to create adverse effects (it's in Gardasil).

Regarding squalene;

Your immune system recognizes squalene as an oil molecule native to your body. It is found throughout your nervous system and brain. In fact, you can consume squalene in olive oil and not only will your immune system recognize it, you will also reap the benefits of its antioxidant properties.

Polysorbate-80 is known to cause infertility.

Polysorbate 80 (also known as tween 80) is a stabilizer used in a wide variety of products including ice cream, milk products, vitamin tablets, lotions and creams and medical products like vaccines and anti-cancer medications.

It is toxic and should not be eaten, drunk, put on the skin or injected.

According to Annals of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology, Volume 95, Number 6, December 2005 , pp. 593-599(7), "it is of current relevance as a 'hidden' inductor of anaphylactoid reactions", and "Polysorbate 80 was identified as the causative agent for the anaphylactoid reaction of nonimmunologic origin in the patient. Conclusions: Polysorbate 80 is a ubiquitously used solubilizing agent that can cause severe nonimmunologic anaphylactoid reactions."

Put in plain English, polysorbate 80 can affect your immune system and cause severe anaphylactic shock which can kill.

It also contains Thiomersal;

Diseased African Monkeys Used to Make Swine Flu Vaccines

This is done in a cruel, inhumane "flesh factory" environment where the monkeys are subjected to a process that includes "incubating said inoculated cell line to permit proliferation of said virus." Then: "harvesting the virus resulting from step (c); and... (ii) preparing a vaccine from the harvested virus."

Aside from the outrageous cruelty taking place with all this ("incubating" the virus in the kidneys of living monkeys, for example), there's another disturbing fact that has surfaced in all this: The patent for this process is held not just by the National Institutes of Health, but by another private corporation known as DynCorp.

This, of course, brings up the obvious question: Who is Dyncorp? And why do they hold a patent on live attenuated vaccine production using African Green Monkeys?

Jude Law is to demand a DNA test to check he is the father of a pregnant model's child.

The actor has vowed to stand by Samantha Burke if she is carrying his baby, but has apparently told friends he wants to be '100 per cent certain' that the child is his.

Fair enough I say, if she dropped her thong for him so easily who knows what other multi-millionaires she may have found irresistible… I find it interesting that in these cases, people always blame the man, and treat the grown up woman (who consented to sex) as the victim. So much for equal treatment eh.

Miss Burke's grandmother said he had taken advantage of the 'young, innocent and silly girl' whose father had 'read him the riot act'.

Delores Burke said: 'To say this family is mad at that man is an understatement.

'He has behaved as less than a gentleman. My son Denis is hopping mad. He feels that Jude Law took advantage of his little girl.'

Yeah yeah, poor woman. She just didn’t understand the ramifications of having unprotected sex with a man. I mean seriously, let’s CUT THE SHIT. If she honestly did not want to get pregnant she could have insisted he wore protection and/ or taken the Pill the following morning.

But she didn’t, did she? She could have even had an abortion, unless she disagrees with them, which would just add emphasis on making the man wear protection as an abortion would then be out of the question. Mr Law isn’t innocent either, but everyone is already attacking him although there doesn’t seem to be any reason to.

But he was said to have told friends that he was not certain he was the father of the child, whose mother has already named her Sophia.

A friend told the News of the World: 'At the moment Jude doesn't know for sure he is the father. He thinks he is - but he wants to be 100 per cent certain. There has been a lot of speculation. But if it is his baby girl he'll be there for her every step of the way.'

Let’s look at this innocent victim woman some more.

He makes around £3million a movie and such a deal, which would cost him millions, could be a factor in his apparent change of heart over the DNA test. He has already paid a £6million lump sum to his ex-wife Sadie Frost, the mother of his three children.

I have just thought up a new word for this. Cash-babies, you know, like cash cows.

Miss Burke, who is staying with her mother Lea in Pensacola, Florida, was said to have told Law about their child in a letter within the past month.

Why didn’t she tell him sooner? Feels like they were organising this press campaign to demonize the man so they can increase the payout.

Law was reported to have told Miss Frost, 44, that he only slept with the model once after a drunken party.

He said last week that he 'intends to be a fully supportive part of the child's life', but Delores Burke said he had not been in contact with her granddaughter.

Mrs Burke, 80, of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, said the relationship between the model and Law had lasted a fortnight before he returned to Britain and 'dumped her cold'.

Yeah, she was obviously a fling. She may have gotten pregnant with the idea of trying to hook Jude Law into a relationship. Wouldn’t be the first time that’s happened.

The Federal Reserve — the quasi-autonomous body that controls the US’s money supply — is a “Ponzi scheme” that created “bubble after bubble” in the US economy and needs to be held accountable for its actions, says Eliot Spitzer, the former governor and attorney-general of New York.

In a wide-ranging discussion of the bank bailouts on MSNBC’s Morning Meeting, host Dylan Ratigan described the process by which the Federal Reserve exchanged $13.9 trillion of bad bank debt for cash that it gave to the struggling banks.

Spitzer — who built a reputation as “the Sheriff of Wall Street” for his zealous prosecutions of corporate crime as New York’s attorney-general and then resigned as the state’s governor over revelations he had paid for prostitutes — seemed to agree with Ratigan that the bank bailout amounts to “America’s greatest theft and cover-up ever.”

On a related note, Point 5 of the Communist Manifesto reads;

Which is also related to a statement a financier made;

"Give me control of a nation's money and I care not who makes the laws."

That was from Mayer Amschel Rothschild (1744 -1812). He understood that the manipulation of debt was the easiest way to acquire power over others. It is a matter of historical record that;

N M Rothschild & Sons' financial strength in the City of London became such that by 1825, the bank was able to supply enough coin to the Bank of England to enable it to avert a liquidity crisis.

So, N M Rothschild & Sons essentially bailed out the Bank of England, taking control (through debt) of the monopoly provider of credit to the country. Do you think they did that out of the goodness of their hearts?

Marx, Ritter, and Nietzsche were all funded and under the instruction of the Rothschilds. The idea was that those who direct the overall conspiracy could use the differences in those two so-called ideologies to enable them to divide larger and larger factions of the human race into opposing camps so that they could be armed and then brainwashed into fighting and destroying each other, and particularly, to destroy all political and religious institutions. His company was the largest chemical manufacturing enterprise in the world, and had extraordinary political and economic power and influence with the Hitlerian Nazi state. When he got out of prison, he went to his friends at the United Nations (UN) and laid out a plan to take over the control of food worldwide. A trade commission called Codex Alimentarius (Latin for food code) was re-created under the guise of it being a consumer protection commission. But Codex was never in the business of protecting people. It has always been about money and profits at the expense of people.

In 1962, the timetable was set for Codex to be fully implemented on a global level by December 31, 2009. Under Codex, committees were established to create guidelines on such topics as fish and fisheries, fats and oils, fruits and vegetables, ground nuts, nutrition, food for specialized uses, and vitamins and minerals. There were 27 committees in all, creating a huge bureaucracy. Under Codex there are over 4,000 guidelines and regulations on everything that can be put into your mouth with the exception of pharmaceuticals which are not regulated by Codex.
